Hello.

So a little about me…..My name’s Katie Deacon and after 18 years working in the Service Sector as a HR Professional (MCIPD) I decided to take a new direction in my career and in March 2020 I founded Vitalise HR Solutions.

Throughout my career I’ve always been passionate about change, innovation and development and am a firm believer that if time and energy is invested in all of these areas, by introducing and driving innovation through teams and operations, then we have the benefit of working in a more productive and engaged environment. As such these are the main areas of focus and service offering for Vitalise HR Solutions.

Openness, authenticity and integrity is hugely important to me and I take a great deal of pride in working closely with business leaders to proactively understand the commerciality of the organisation and their operations, translating their strategy in to clear, pragmatic and focused people solutions and aid in developing effective and engaging leaders and growing high performing teams.

I’ve had a really interesting and exciting career in the corporate world working in a variety of roles, first starting out as a HR Assistant and then working my way up “the ladder” to Head of People Operations and most recently Head of Talent and Leadership Development.

Having had the pleasure of working with some fabulous organisations such as E.ON UK, Molson Coors Brewing Company, Virgin Media and HomeServe Membership Limited, I’ve been lucky enough to have gained a diverse range of experience in HR, working across all stages of the employee life cycle. I’ve worked in areas such as developing new Shared Services teams and activity, designing, recruiting for and running Undergraduate and Graduate training schemes, Reward, Employee Relations, Learning and Development and strategic generalist Business Partnering activity such as organisational reviews and re-design, including TUPE, settlement conversations and redundancy consultations, leadership coaching and development and talent management planning.
